    Goodness that is a wonderful close up. I love all the detail and colours on that caterpillar but isn’t he put a bit late in the year?

      Thank you. There were actually four of them on one rose bush, not out too late as they hatch late July to early October. x

      For one so bright it was easy to miss. Went back indoors for my camera, took ages to find it again! x
